* If applicant is the homeowner, he/she must read and sign a Homeowner Affidavit. Otherwise, Authorized Agent must be listed.
State contractor's license and certificate of insurance and worker's comp required for projects over $25,000.00.
The following Residential projects require a foundation and first floor plan stamped by a Tennessee licensed design professional, architect or engineer:
2,500 square fee or more under roof with poured foundation or basement walls.
2,500 square feet or more under roof with masonry walls over 6 feet.
The following Residential projects require a full set of plans to include (foundation, floors, floor & ceiling joists and rafter spans) stamped by Tennessee licensed design professional, architect or engineer.
Designated Agent Authorization form required for all projects.
This permit becomes null and void if work or construction authorized is not commenced within 6 months or if construction or work is suspended or abandoned for a period of 6 months at any time after work in commenced.
Any home 5,000 square feet or more under roof.
Stamped plans may be required for Commercial projects upon review of the Development Advisory Committee.
In the event the licensed contractor disclosed hereon is replaced on this project, the Tullahoma Planning Department shall be immediately notified. Failure to notify may result in revocation of this permit and is a violation of state law.
I hereby certify that I have read and examined this application and know the same to be true and correct. All provisions of laws and ordinances governing this type of work will be complied with whether specified herein or not. The granting of a permit does not presume to give authority to homeowner/builder is responsible to adhere to all existing setbacks, easements, and/or buffer yards located on said property.
